We'll be launching this project in spring 2009.

• Squared 5 – MPEG Streamclip video converter for Mac and Windows – Smart looking utility for video converting and editing – good for social reporting gigs.
• Bring Down IE 6 – A campaign to stop people using a hideously outdated browser. People in public sector IT depts, please take note.

• ScholarPress – Set of plugins to make WordPress more useful in a learning environment.
• Sub Pages widget – Useful plugin for WP that displays subpages of the current page in a widget. Useful for WordPress as CMS type stuff.
• The year of living (slightly) dangerously at Helpful Technology – I can't help but feel that Steph isn't giving himself enough credit in this post.

• Pedalling some raw data… « innovate.direct.gov.uk – Data from the Dept for Transport is released about where cycling accidents have been taking place. Some interesting discussions in the comments. It is of course a good move, but why is the data in xls and not an open format?
• Civil Service jobs, your way – Steph on the new Civil Service jobs dataset. Interesting stuff.
• Lost Zombies – Great example of Ning usage. Thanks to @harry_harrold for the tip.
• LGSearch – UK Public Sector Search Engine – Karen Blakeman blogs about LGSearch. Nice one!
