Big day for a WordPress fanboy like me – the latest version of the open source publishing platform has been released, with a much updated administration area amongst other innovations.

Woo! Been waiting eagerly for this. Looks like massive improvements. That’s this weekend’s project sorted then.
Yep, looks good. Am holding out on upgrading for now until a) I dare to do it and b) there’s confirmation from the original developer of my theme that it’s all compatible. I can see stuff like threaded comments buggering things up…
