David Wilcox has taken his new Nokia to the Social Innovation Camp this weekend and is putting up some great video – social reporting in action!
Incidentally, David tweeted earlier asking how Qik video can be embedded into a WordPress.com blog. I’ve quickly googled it but came up with a blank. Anyone have any ideas?
Embedding Qik videos directly on wordpress.com is not possible at present as wordpress.com currently supports only the providers listed on: http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/can-i-add-flash-video-embed-other-media/.
Qik videos can be embedded on other blogs including self-hosted WordPress blogs.
How did this chap do it? http://dbrusilovsky.wordpress.com/
Thanks Dave. I’ve found you can’t embed to wordpress.com except from certain services including YouTube. You can do Qik-> YouTube but I had some difficulty with the audio results. Still experimenting.
My old personal blog – http://www.dbrusilovsky.wordpress.com – was quite easy to add the code to the post. Istead of using the Visual Editor, use the HTML editor.
That should work. If it doesn’t, feel free to email me daniel@qik.com, and I will try to help 🙂
Take care,
Daniel @ Qik
